At Undercliffe we provide a range of grave clearance and maintenance services.
We can undertake heavy work to facilitate access to a specific grave. This may be an option if you are undertaking family research and have the plot location but find that it is inaccessible. The cost for this work is variable depending on how much work is required to create an access path in and then clear the grave. Please contact the Coordinator who will provide a quote for a specific piece of work.
We maintain the grave and ensure there is an access path. An annual contract runs from September – August. We send out renewal invitations each September. If you wish to join the scheme mid-way through the year we will calculate a part payment.
If your grave is not grassed we can also provide a maintenance service which includes seasonal plantings.

The Charity maintains 134 war graves from the First World War and the Second World War on behalf of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. We also maintain a number of private family graves where Armed Forces personnel are buried. There is no specific section for War Graves at Undercliffe and these graves are distributed through-out the cemetery.
